Bronx, N.Y. – The Fordham University Rams continue their 2026 Atlantic 10 season by traveling to Richmond, Va., to fac ethe VCU Rams at the VCU Athletic Village on Saturday, September 26, at 3:00 p.m.
 
Fordham enters the game with an 3-4-1 overall record, 1-0-0 in the Atlantic 10, after a 2-0 win over Loyola Chicago at Moglia Stadium last Saturday while VCU is 0-6-2 overall, 0-1-0 in the A10, and is coming off a 2-1 loss at St. Bonaventure last Saturday.
 
Notes
• Fordham freshman forward Arata Mizuno (Tokyo, Japan Runnymede College (Spain)) was named the Atlantic 10 Men's Soccer Rookie of the Week it was announced by the conference on Monday.
 
• This will be the 14th meeting between the Rams and the Rams.
 
• The all-time series, which started in 2012, is tied at 4-4-5.
 
• Fordham has taken the past two meetings, and four of the past five, including a 5-1 win at Moglia Stadium last year as five different Fordham players scored.
 
• Fordham will played four of the first five matches of 2026 on natural grass with the lone artificial surface coming at Villanova.
 
• Following the opening five games, the Rams will play only two other matches on the real stuff, at Dayton and at Davidson.
 
• The Rams played their first five matches on the road and ten of their 15 matches away from the Bronx.
 
• All told, Fordham will travel 5,910 miles during the 2026 season.
 
• The 2026 Fordham Rams will be one of the newest rosters in the NCAA.
 
• Fordham returns just ten players from the 2025 roster who account for only 15% of the minutes played by last year's squad.
