Atlantic 10 Release

Bronx, N.Y. – Fordham freshman forward Arata Mizuno (Tokyo, Japan / Runnymede College (Spain)) was named the Atlantic 10 Men's Soccer Rookie of the Week it was announced by the conference today. It is the first weekly honor for the rookie.
 
In a 2-0 Atlantic 10 win over Loyola Chicago on Saturday, Mizuno netted his first collegiate goal, taking a long pass from Fabio Sebastian Sanchez and going in alone on the Rambler keeper before burying his shot to the lower left corner.
 
Mizuno becomes the second Ram to earn A10 Rookie of the Week honors, joining Marco Cantalapiedra who received the award on August 31.
 
The Rams return to action on Saturday, September 26, when they travel to Richmond, Va., to take on the VCU Rams in an Atlantic 10 match at 3:00 p.m.
