2026 Fordham Football – The Wide Receiver/Tight Ends

A look at the 2026 Ram ball catchers

Bronx, N.Y. – With the 2026 Fordham Football camp in full swing we continue the position-by-position breakdown of the 2026 roster with a look at the wide receiver and tight ends.

Last year the Fordham wide receivers were hit hard by injury. The good news is that most of the injured Rams are back for 2026 and it also allowed others to gain valuable experience, led by senior Nodin Tracy, who moved into the starting lineup last year and led the team in receptions and receiving yards. He caught 45 passes for 443 yards (9.8 yards/catch) with one touchdown.

Returning after missing all or most of the 2025 season are senior KJ Reed, who caught 16 passes for 156 yards and one touchdown in 2024, and senior Ricky Gonzalez II, who appeared in four games last year, making 14 receptions for 153 yards (10.9 yards/catch) before missing the rest of the year. Also back is senior Alec Hughes, a transfer from Maryland who missed the 2025 season with an injury.

Sophomore Troy Worrell also stepped in as a freshman to catch 25 passes for 376 yards (15.0 yards/reception) and five touchdowns, leading the squad in receiving touchdowns.

Other returning receivers are senior Michael Donegan, who saw action in five games in 2025, junior Austen Kivler, who appeared in five games last fall, junior Zach Madison, who played in one game last fall, sophomore Christian Tutson, who saw action in three games as a rookie, sophomore Carter Foote, who also appeared in three games last year, sophomore Judah Ofori-Ansah, who played in a one game in his first season, and sophomore Luke Hardy, who did not see action as a freshman.

Newcomers at wide receiver include senior Andrew Bond, a transfer from Northen Illinois, sophomore Luke Hyan, a transfer from Glendale College where he had 40 catches for 401 yards last year, junior Riccardo Zanotti Cavazzoni, a transfer from Pace University, freshman Peyton Lehner, a product of Mater Dei High School in Santa Ana, California, Eric Pirrello, who played his high school football at nearby Iona Prep, and freshman Davie Rolle, a Second Team All-State selection at Plant High school last year.

The tight end position will be an open competition in 2026, led by grad student Chris Tuck II, who moved over to tight end from the defensive line at the end of last year, along with sophomore John Morris, who appeared in eleven games as a rookie, catching six passes.

Also back is junior Dallas Reece, who did not see action last fall.

Newcomers to the tight end position include junior Jake Kucera, a transfer from Maine where he appeared in all 12 games last year, freshman Kevin O'Brien, a 2025 Second Team All-League tight end at Palo Alto High School, and freshman Rob Novotny, a starter at St. Joseph's Prep in Philadelphia last year.

The Rams open the 2026 season on Friday night, August 28, as they open Patriot League play by hosting the Colgate University Raiders at Moglia Stadium at 6:00 p.m. Season and individual game tickets are now on sale on the Fordham Ticket website.
