Join the Rams in Pregame Reception at Coastal Carolina
Bronx, N.Y. – With the 2026 Fordham Football camp in full swing we continue the position-by-position breakdown of the 2026 roster with a peak at the linebackers.
There's no doubt that the biggest loss for the Rams from 2025 is that of All-America linebacker,
James Conway, who set the NCAA Division I career tackles record last fall. But that's not to say that the Rams don't have talent and experience returning at linebacker, led by senior captain
Andrew Osmun, a preseason All-Patriot League selection. Last year he started all 12 games, recording 100 total tackles, 49 solo, including eight for loss and one sack. Osmun was second on team in both total tackles and tackles for loss.
Osmun is joined by junior
Jaylen Dawson, who saw action in eleven games as a sophomore, starting one, and finishing with 21 total tackles, ten solo, including 0.5 for loss, junior
Christian Black, who appeared in all 12 games last year, registering nine total tackles, four solo, junior
Alex Fiala, who played in ten games as a sophomore, recording four tackles, three solo, including one for loss, sophomore
Tavian Fenderson, who appeared in three games as a freshman, and seniors
Justin Fontana and
Sean Maguire, who did not see action last year.
Newcomers at linebacker include freshman
AJ Revella, a 2025 All-Zone section at St. Joseph's Regional High School,
Wyatt Knapp, an All-State pick at Park City High School in Utah last fall, and sophomore
Hayden Tumminia, who received All-State honors at Milton High School in Georgia as a senior.
The Rams open the 2026 season on Friday night, August 28, as they open Patriot League play by hosting the Colgate University Raiders at Moglia Stadium at 6:00 p.m. Season and individual game tickets are now on sale on the
Fordham Ticket website.
