Bronx, N.Y. - Returning home to The Bronx for a Valentine's Day battle at the Rose Hill Gym, Fordham University women's basketball takes on Duquesne Saturday afternoon.

Fordham (10-15, 2-12) will look to build on a comeback victory at Saint Louis on Wednesday afternoon, 42-39. Duquesne (8-16, 1-12) is coming off its first victory since Dec. 21, downing Loyola Chicago at home 67-55 on Wednesday.

Facing off three times last season, Fordham swept a pair of one score victories in the 2024-25 regular season, 64-53 in Pittsburgh and 56-53 in The Bronx. Duquesne took the most recent meeting in the second round of the A-10 Championship last season, 79-63. The Dukes all time hold a 24-14 lead in the series with Fordham, though the Rams have won nine of the last 12 meetings dating back to the 2016-17 season.

Notes

The Maroon and White sit 12th among all Division I teams in the nation, leading the A-10 averaging 15.9 offensive rebounds per game and are 87th nationally in overall rebounds at 39.16, third best in the conference.

The Rams are second in the league and 67th best of any team in the nation, averaging 22.8 bench points per game. 

Fordham also sits 78th in the country in steals per game at 9.8/game, the third best average in the league as well, and rank 68th in the country in turnovers forced per game, forcing opponents into 19.36/game, second in the A-10.

Fordham will have the midweek off before returning to action for the final three games of the regular season, beginning Saturday at Rhode Island at 2:00 p.m.
