Rams take on one of the other A-10 Rams on ESPN+

BRONX – The Fordham University Rams continue the 2025-2026 Atlantic 10 season, Fordham's 123rd season of basketball, on Saturday, February 14, as they travel to Kingston, R.I., to take on the University of Rhode Island Rams in the Ryan Center at 12:00 p.m.
 
The game will be broadcast on ESPN+ with Michael Petraske (PxP) and Tyler Pinheiro (analyst) announcing as well as broadcast on WFUV (90.7 FM) and the WFUV Sports YouTube page with Joe Henry (PxP) and Tucker Austin (analyst) behind the mics.
 
Fordham enters the game with a 13-12 record, 4-8 in the Atlantic 10, after a 68-64 A-10 win at Saint Joseph's on Tuesday night while Rhode Island is 14-10 on the season, 5-6 in the conference, following a 75-70 A-10 loss at George Washington on Tuesday.
 
Saturday afternoon's game will be the 78th meeting between Fordham and Rhode Island on the hardwood. Rhode Island leads the all-time series, which started in the 1941-42 season, 43-34.

Notes
• Grad student guard Dejour Reaves has scored in double figures in all 24 games he has appeared in, including a career-best 31 points in the win at St. Bonaventure on Jan. 10.
 
• Reaves is averaging 18.0 ppg over the last 13 and an Atlantic 10-best 17.1 ppg on the season (17.9 ppg in A-10 play).
 
• Junior forward Rikus Schulte leads the team with seven double-doubles.
 
• Schulte is shooting .587 (115-196) on the season.
 
• Senior guard Christian Henry is averaging 12.4 ppg over his last 16 games (he missed the Dayton and George Mason games with an injury), including a career-high 29 points against UAlbany (he left the New Haven game early with an injury).
 
• Henry is also averaging 5.2 apg on the year, including tying his career-high with nine helpers vs. Manhattan on Dec. 13 and then matching that at St. Bonaventure on Jan. 10.
 
• Redshirt freshman forward Abass Bodija is averaging 11.5 ppg and 7.5 rpg over the last tea contests.
 
• Bodija recorded his second double-double with 1 2-point, 10-rebound game at Saint Joseph's.
 
• Freshman forward Roor Akhuar is shooting .429 (9-21) from three-point range over the last four games.
 
• Fordham won the most recent matchup, a 88-71 victory in the first round of the A-10 Championship last March in Washington, D.C., as Jackie Johnson III scored 29 points and Japhet Medor added 26.
 
• The 2025-26 Fordham squad features nine new players including eight transfers.
 
• Of the eight transfers, three are grad transfers.
 
• The Rams are represented by three captains this year: grad guards Marcus Greene and Dejour Reaves, and junior forward Rikus Schulte.
