BRONX – The Fordham University Rams continue the 2025-2026 Atlantic 10 season, Fordham's 123rd season of basketball, on Saturday, January 31, as they travel to the Nation's Capital to face the George Washington University Revolutionaries in the Smith Center at 2:00 p.m.
The game will be broadcast on ESPN+ with Byron Kerr (PxP) and Jimmy Patsos (analyst) announcing as well as broadcast on WFUV (90.7 FM) and the
WFUV Sports YouTube page with Chris Carrino (PxP) and Brendan Shorey (analyst) behind the mics.
Fordham enters the game with a 11-10 record, 2-6 in the Atlantic 10, after a 64-58 A-10 win over La Salle in the Rose Hill Gym on Wednesday night while George Washington is 13-8 on the season, 4-4 in the conference, following a 79-76 A-10 loss at Saint Louis last Tuesday night.
Saturday afternoon's game will be the 47th meeting between Fordham and George Washington on the hardwood. The Revolutionaries lead the all-time series, which started in the 1914-15 season, 33-13 but the Rams have taken three of the past five.

• Grad student guard
Dejour Reaves has scored in double figures in all 20 games he has appeared in, including a career-best 31 points in the win at St. Bonaventure on Jan. 10.
• Reaves is averaging 19.1 ppg over the last seven, 18.9 ppg over the past ten, and an Atlantic 10-best 17.4 ppg on the season.
• Sophomore center
Jack Whitbourn is averaging 9.0 ppg and 8.7 rpg over the last seven.
• Whitbourn scored a career-high 14 points vs. George Mason on Jan. 7 and matched it in the win at St. Bonaventure on Jan. 10 and grabbed a season-high 14 rebounds at Saint Louis and bettered that with 15 boards against Duquesne.
• Junior forward
Rikus Schulte leads the team with seven double-doubles.
• Schulte is shooting .571 (96-168) on the season.
• Senior guard
Christian Henry is averaging 12.8 ppg over his last 12 games (he missed the Dayton and George Mason games with an injury), including a career-high 29 points against UAlbany (he left the New Haven game early with an injury).
• Henry is also averaging 5.3 apg on the year, including tying his career-high with nine helpers vs. Manhattan on Dec. 13 and then matching that at St. Bonaventure on Jan. 10.
• Redshirt freshman
Abass Bodija is averaging 7.3 ppg over his past eight contests, shooting .615 (24-39) from the field over that stretch.
• Junior forward
Akira Jacobs is shooting .444 (12-27) from behind the arc over past five games, averaging 10.8 ppg over that stretch.
• The 2025-26 Fordham squad features nine new players including eight transfers.
• Of the eight transfers, three are grad transfers.
• The Rams are represented by three captains this year: grad guards
Marcus Greene and
Dejour Reaves, and junior forward
Rikus Schulte.
