BRONX – The Fordham University Rams continue the 2025-2026 Atlantic 10 season, Fordham's 123rd season of basketball, on Saturday, January 17, as they host the Duquesne University Dukes in the historic Rose Hill Gym at 12:30 p.m.
The game will be televised on the USA Network with Steve Schlanger (PxP) and John Giannini
(analyst) announcing as well as broadcast on WFUV (90.7 FM) and the
WFUV Sports YouTube page with Chris Carrino (PxP) and Joe Henry (analyst) behind the mics.
Fordham enters the game with a 10-8 record, 1-4 in the Atlantic 10, after a 78-56 A-10 loss at Saint Louis on Wednesday night while Duquesne is 9-8 on the season, 1-3 in the conference, following a 71-65 A-10 loss to Dayton in Pittsburgh on Tuesday night.
Saturday afternoon's game will be the 53rd meeting between Fordham and Duquesne on the hardwood. The Dukes lead the all-time series, which started in the 1949-50 season, 30-22, but the Rams have taken six of the last eight meetings, including the first matchup last year, 65-63, on January 26 in the Rose Hill Gym as Josh Rivera hit a corner three with 24 seconds left.

• Grad student guard
Dejour Reaves has scored in double figures in all 17 games he has appeared in, including a career-best 31 points in the win at St. Bonaventure on Jan. 10.
• Reaves is averaging 19.9 ppg over the past seven and an Atlantic 10-best 17.5 ppg on the season.
• Sophomore center
Jack Whitbourn is averaging 10.2 ppg and 10.8 rpg over the last five, shooting .500 (22-44) from the field.
• Whitbourn scored a career-high 14 points vs. George Mason on Jan. 7 and matched it in the win at St. Bonaventure on Jan. 10 and grabbed a season-high 14 rebounds at Saint Louis.
• Junior forward
Rikus Schulte is averaging 11.9 ppg and points 10.3 rpg over the last 14 games with seven double-doubles during that time frame.
• Schulte is shooting .588 (70-119) over that stretch and .577 (86-149) on the season.
• Senior guard
Christian Henry is averaging 14.1 ppg over his last nine games (he missed the Dayton and George Mason games with an injury), including a career-high 29 points against UAlbany (he left the New Haven game early with an injury).
• Henry is also averaging 6.1 apg over his last nine, including tying his career-high with nine helpers vs. Manhattan on Dec. 13 and then matching that at St. Bonaventure on Jan. 10..
• The Rams are averaging 40.7 rpg, second in the Atlantic 10 and 27th in the NCAA.
• Fordham is led by junior forward
Rikus Schulte, who is averaging 9.8 rpg, second in the A-10 and 19th in the NCAA.
• The 2025-26 Fordham squad features nine new players including eight transfers.
