Bridgeport, Pa. – (September 30, 2025) – The MAWPC released its weekly awards on Tuesday with Fordham's
Andras Toth (Pecs, Hungary) receiving Player of the Week honors, while
Balazs Berenyi (Budapest, Hungary) earned Co-Defensive Player of the Week accolades. The Rams' duo helped Fordham to a 2-0 weekend with wins over #13 Princeton and Wagner, improving the team's record to 10-1 overall, 4-0 in the MAWPC.
Toth totaled 13 goals on 20 shots (65% shooting percentage) to go with four assists, four steals, and two blocks in the two victories. He scored a game-high six goals to go with two assists, three steals and a block against #13 Princeton, and then tied a career-high with seven goals to go with two assists, a steal, and a block versus Wagner.
Berenyi was a force on the defensive end for the Rams, allowing only one goal from the two-meter set position over both games. He also added a pair of steals in the Wagner match. He also chipped in two goals on the offensive end, one in each game.
Toth, Berenyi, and the rest of the Rams are next in action on Friday, October 10
th for the annual Judge Cup match against Iona at the Col. Francis B. Messmore Aquatic Center.
