Bronx, N.Y. – On the birthday of the Society of Jesus (Jesuits), who were formally approved by Pope Paul III on this date in 1540, the Fordham men's soccer team took the Jesuit ideal of being a man for others to the extreme with four different players not only scoring but also recording an assist in a 5-1 Atlantic 10 win over VCU at Moglia Stadium
With the win, Fordham improves to 5-2-2 overall, 2-0-1 in the Atlantic 10, while VCU falls to 3-4-3 overall, 0-1-1 in the conference.

Emile Kisse each notched a goal and an assist for the Rams who held a 2-0 lead at the half and extended it to 4-0 early in the second half.
How it Happened
• Fordham broke the 0-0 tie when Pompliano scored his second goal of the season in the 25th minute, assisted by
Emile Kisse and
Elias Betancourt.
• The Rams grabbed a 2-0 advantage on an unassisted goal from D'Ippolito -- his third goal of the season -- in the 30th minute.
• Fordham went ahead 3-0 on Kisse's 48th-minute goal, his third of the season.
• The Rams went up 4-0 with a 53rd-minute goal from
Daniel Lang, his third goal of the season. Pompliano assisted the goal.
• VCU made it a 4-1 game in the 58th minute before the Rams expanded their lead to 5-1 thanks to an 83rd-minute goal from Betancourt, his first goal of the season with an assist from
Andre Insalaco and D'Ippolito.

Tristan Stephani recorded three saves for the Rams out of 10 total Rams shots.
• Stephani improves to 4-0-1 on the season.
• D'Ippolito has now scored 22 career goals, tenth all-time at Fordham.

th of his career, eighth on the Ram all-time list.

What's Next?
• The Rams travel to Chicago to take on the Loyola University Chicago Ramblers next Saturday, October 4, for a 4:00 p.m. (EST) Atlantic 10 contest.
• The Ramblers lead the all-time series, 4-1-0 but Fordham took last year's meeting, 5-1, at Moglia Stadium.
