BRONX, N.Y. -  The Fordham University Football Rams open the 2025 season, Fordham's 125th varsity season, by traveling to Boston to face the Boston College Eagles at Alumni Stadium on Saturday, August 30, at 2:00 p.m.

The game will be televised live on ESPN+ with Kevin Connors (p-b-p) and Craig Haubert (analyst) announcing and broadcast live on WFUV (90.7 FM) and the WFUV YouTube channel with Chris Carrino (p-b-p) and Brendan Shorey (analyst) handling the announcing chores.

Fordham enters the season after a 2-10 2024 campaign, 2-4 in the Patriot League, while Boston College is coming off a 2024 season where the Eagles finished 7-6 overall, 4-4 in the ACC, and feel, 20-15, to Nebraska in the 2024 Pinstripe Bowl at Yankee Stadium.

Saturday's game will be the 29th meeting between Fordham and Boston College, the first since 1954. The Eagles lead the all-time series, 14-12-2, and they took the last matchup, 55-20, in Boston in 1954.
