Bronx, N.Y. – As we close out the 2025 Fordham football camp we wrap up our position-by-position breakdown of the Rams, highlighting the kicking game.
Fordham returns both starting kickers in graduate student punter
Will Haslett and sophomore placekicker
Bennett Henderson.
Haslett, a preseason All-Patriot League selection, handled all the punting chores for the Rams in 2024, averaging 42.0 yards per punt. He landed 19 of his 67 kicks inside the opponent's 20 and had 12 punts of over 50 yards as he earned First Team All-Patriot League honors.
Henderson handled most of the placekicking duties for the Rams last fall, made good on ten of his 12 field goal attempts and 20 of his 21 PATs. He was one shy of the Fordham freshman record for field goals in a season set by Micah Clukey in 2003 and he booted four field goals of more than 40 yards, including a season-long 52-yarder.
Other kickers on the roster include junior
Mack Massad, who appeared in one game as a sophomore, and sophomore
Dominic Sansone, who did not see action as a freshman.
The only question with the kicking game is the long snapping position with four long snappers on the roster.
Junior
Michael Doctor, who saw action as a wide receiver for the Rams last year, moves to long snapper in 2025. He is joined by sophomore
Lachlan McIntyre, who did not see action last year, and freshmen
Jack Jedlicka, who snapped at Greenwich High School in Greenwich, Conn, last year, and
Deacon Prince, a First Team All-Founders League performer at Avon Old Farms last fall.
Fordham opens the 2025 season on Saturday, August 30, when the Rams travel to Boston College for a 2:00 p.m. contest. Join your fellow Ram fans in a
pregame reception prior to the game.
