Rams Sit In Four-Way Tie for Final Two Playoff Spots

Bronx, N.Y. – (May 11, 2025) – Dayton's Ryan MacDougall recorded his third home run in two days and drove in four runs, as the Flyers knocked off the Fordham Rams, 8-3, at Houlihan Park on Sunday afternoon.

The loss by Fordham along with other results has created  four-way tie for the final two playoff spots with George Washington, Richmond, and Dayton.

The Rams opened with a 1-0 lead in the second inning, as Anthony Grabau doubled with one out, moved to third on a single by Matt Dieguez, and scored on a ground out by Madden Ocko.

Dayton answered with two runs in the third, highlighted by an RBI-single by Ryan MacDougall.  The Flyers then scored six times in the fourth inning to open up an 8-1 advantage.  McDougall was once again at the center of the action, hitting a three-run home run to right, his eighth of the year.
