Bronx, N.Y. – (March 9, 2025) – Army's Addison Ainsworth collected three hits and four RBI, while Bryce Brownlee allowed two runs over five innings, as the Black Knights took the series finale from the Fordham Rams on Sunday at Houlihan Park by a score of 8-2.
The Black Knights started the game with a bang, when Billy Parker hit a two-run home run to left, his first of the season. Fordham answered back with a run in the bottom of the frame on an RBI-single by

Army made it 3-1 in the second on a sacrifice fly by Ainsworth and extended the lead to 6-1 in the fourth inning. Ainsworth had a two-run double in that frame with Chris Barr having an RBI-single.
The Rams scratched a run across the plate in the sixth to make it 6-2, as
Daniel Bucciero led off with a double and scored on Ocko's second RBI-single of the afternoon.
However, Barr and Ainsworth each pushed a run across in the eighth inning for the 8-2 final.
Fordham was limited to six hits in the game by Army's pitching duo of Bryce Brownlee and Robbie Penswick. Brownlee allowed two runs on five hits over five innings, while Penswick tossed four innings of one-hit relief.
For Fordham, Ocko had the best day, going 2-for-3 with a pair of RBI.
A.J. Pino (0-1) took the loss, giving up three runs on four hits in 1.1 innings of work.
The Rams are next in action on Wednesday, March 12
th, when they host Navy for a 3:00 PM game at Houlihan Park.
