BRONX, N.Y. – Hosting the second of four straight home games to open the season, Fordham University Women's Basketball takes on NJIT Friday night at the Rose Hill Gym.
Tipping off at 5:00 p.m. the game will air live on ESPN+ with Andrew Bogusch and Andrew Posadas on the call. Friday is a Fordham Basketball doubleheader, with the men's team taking on Mount St. Mary's at 7:30 p.m.
The Rams are coming off a 60-51 win on opening night Monday over Adelphi. In their Fordham debuts, Alexis Black and Ugne Sirtautaite each finished with 14 points to pace the offense, with each shooting 50% or better from the field. 11 of the Rams' 12 active players saw action in the season opener, including all eight newcomers to the squad this season.
Playing three games over the next six days, the Maroon and White will host Saint Peter's on Monday night and Stony Brook Wednesday at the Rose Hill Gym to complete a four-game homestand to open the year.
