South Orange, N.J.  – On the backend of a brief two-game road trip, Fordham University women's basketball (3-2) heads across the George Washington Bridge Thursday night to take on Seton Hall (3-0) at 7:00 p.m. on ESPN+

Fordham looks to bounce back from a 67-59 loss in their first road game of the season Sunday at Buffalo, in yet another game that came down to the wire for the Rams.

A perfect 3-0 on the year Seton Hall looks to remain unbeaten with a potent offense that is averaging over 80 points per game, with all three of the Pirates wins by double digits. Seton Hall holds a 9-4 record against the Rams, and have claimed the last two meetings, including last season, 67-44. Fordham's last win in the series was during the 2021-22 campaign, an 82-63 win in the Garden State.

Fordham's offense has been led by Alexis Black who has tallied double figures in each of her first four games as a Ram, averaging 19.3 points on the year, 42nd best amongst all Division I players and fourth most in the A-10.

Black is also second in the nation in free throws with 33, and places 13th in the country in overall points scored with 97 on the season already.

Elsewhere for the Rams, their presence has been felt on defense, with Black and Kaila Berry already collecting 12 and 10 steals respectively, both top ten in the conference, and Maysen Hill in her first five collegiate games has tallied six blocks, including three against Saint Peter's last week, also top 10 in the league.

Fordham sits as one of the top teams in the A-10 at getting in the passing lanes once again this season, averaging 11.6 steals per game to rank third best in the conference and 75th in the country. The Rams also place 28th nationally, averaging 17.4 offensive rebounds per game.

Following the trip across the Hudson, Fordham returns to the Rose Hill Gym Sunday afternoon for the Battle of the Bronx against Manhattan at 2:00 p.m.
