BRONX, N.Y. – Closing a four-game homestand to open the 2025-26 campaign, Fordham University women's basketball hosts Stony Brook Wednesday night at the Rose Hill Gymnasium.
Tipping off at 6:00 p.m. the game will air live on ESPN+ with Andrew Bogusch and Andrew Posadas on the call. Wednesday is Faculty & Staff Appreciation Day, as the Rams recognize the hard working individual across all of Fordham's campuses throughout the Big Apple. The Rams will also be raising awareness, partnering with Autism Speaks on Wednesday as well.
Coming off a thrilling 70-55 win over Saint Peter's Monday night, the Rams used a second half offensive outburst to outscore the Peacocks 39-24 in the final 20 minutes. Alexis Black for the third straight game would lead Fordham in scoring, tallying 20 points on the night, to lead a group of three Rams in double figures against the Peacocks.
Collecting three steals on the day, Kaila Berry led the Rams in picks yet again, already with 10 steals to her credit through the first three games of the campaign. Ugne Sirtautaite had a bit of a breakout in Monday's contest as one of three players in double figures, and finished one shy of a double-double with nine rebounds as well.
For the third year in a row, Fordham sits as one of the top teams in the nation at getting in the passing lanes, averaging 12.7 steals per game to rank 72nd in the nation and second best in the A-10. The Rams also place 24th nationally, averaging 19.0 offensive rebounds per game.
Taking their first road trip of the season this weekend, the Maroon and White head upstate to Buffalo for a meeting with the UBuffalo Bulls Sunday at 2:00 p.m.
