Men’s Soccer Travels to Saint Louis for Atlantic 10 Match on Saturday

BRONX – The Fordham University Rams continue their 2025 Atlantic 10 season by traveling to St. Louis, Mo., to take on the Saint Louis University Billikens at Hermann Stadium on Saturday, October 18, at 8:00 p.m. (EST).

Fordham enters the match with a 7-2-3 overall record, 4-0-2 in the Atlantic 10, after a 1-0 win over Duquesne at Moglia Stadium last Saturday night, while Saint Louis is 7-4-2-4 on the season, 4-0-1 in the A-10, following a 2-0 win at VCU on Saturday night.
 
Notes
• This will be the 19th meeting between Fordham and Duquesne on the pitch.
 
• The Billikens lead the all-time series, 10-6-2
 
• The two teams played to a 2-2 draw last year at Fordham as the Rams overcame a 2-0 halftime deficit with goals from Andre Insalaco and Daniel D'Ippolito in the second half with D'Ippolito's coming in the 89th minute.
 
• The Fordham Rams are well represented in the Atlantic 10 and NCAA rankings with grad student keeper Tristan Stephani and senior midfielder Daniel D'Ippolito ranking among the leaders in various categories.
 
• Through games of October 13, Stephani leads the Atlantic 10 and is fifth in the nation in GAA (0.375) and he leads the conference and is seventh in the country in save percentage (.864).
 
• D'Ippolito leads the A-10 and is 26th in the NCAA in assists/game (0.50) and is second in the conference and 47th in the country in points per game (1.27).
 
• As a team, the Rams lead the Atlantic 10 in goal differential (+9) and are third in goals per game (1.58).
 
• Fordham senior midfielder Daniel D'Ippolito as amassed 23 career goals over the past four years, tying him for ninth on the Fordham career goals list.
 
• His 16 career assists is the eighth best all-time at Fordham while his 62 career points places him eighth on the Fordham career list.
 
• D'Ippolito was named the number two player to watch on the 2025 TopDrawerSoccer Top 100 list.
 
• D'Ippolito was also named Preseason All-Atlantic 10 and was joined on the team by graduate student Thomas Gray.
 
• The Rams will be represented by three captains in 2025: graduate students Thomas Gray and Luca Bernoth, and senior Daniel D'Ippolito.
