Fordham Game Notes
BRONX, N.Y. – The Fordham University Rams close out the 2023-2024 regular season, Fordham's 121st varsity season, and continue Atlantic 10 play by hosting the University of Rhode Island Rams in the historic Rose Hill Gym on Saturday, March 9, at 1:00 p.m.
Prior to the game four Fordham senior student-athletes (
Ogheneyole Akuwovo,
Antrell Charlton,
Albe Evans, and
Kyle Rose) along with head student manager Alex Soumakis will be honored in a special ceremony.

It will also be Fordham's Black Out Day as all fans are encouraged to wear black to the game and free t-shirts will be given out.
Join the Ramses Challenge, a philanthropic initiative supporting our student-athletes. Pledge a set amount for each rebound, offensive rebound, steal, or assist. All proceeds are tax-deductible and go directly to the men's basketball program. There is also an option to make a one-time gift to men's basketball.
The game will be streamed on ESPN+ with Andrew Bogusch (PxP) and Andrew Posadas (analyst) announcing as well as broadcast on WFUV (90.7 FM) and the
WFUV Sports YouTube page with Miles Grossman (PxP) and Colin Loughran (analyst) behind the mics.
Fordham enters the game with a 12-18 overall record, 6-11 in the Atlantic 10, and is coming off a 66-64 Atlantic 10 loss at Massachusetts on Wednesday night while Rhode Island enters the game with an 11-19 overall record, 5-12 in the conference, after a 69-51 A-10 loss to George Mason in Kingston on Wednesday.
Saturday afternoon's contest will be the 74th meeting between Fordham and Rhode Island on the hardwood. The Kingston Rams lead the all-time series, 42-31, but the Bronx Rams have won three of the past four meetings, including this year's first matchup, 71-68, in Kingston on January 24 behind 24 points from
Kyle Rose.
