BRONX, N.Y. –  The Fordham University Rams close out the 2023-2024 regular season, Fordham's 121st varsity season, and continue Atlantic 10 play by hosting the University of Rhode Island Rams in the historic Rose Hill Gym on Saturday, March 9, at 1:00 p.m.
 
Prior to the game four Fordham senior student-athletes (Ogheneyole Akuwovo, Antrell Charlton, Albe Evans, and Kyle Rose) along with head student manager Alex Soumakis will be honored in a special ceremony.

It will also be Fordham's Black Out Day as all fans are encouraged to wear black to the game and free t-shirts will be given out.
 
Join the Ramses Challenge, a philanthropic initiative supporting our student-athletes. Pledge a set amount for each rebound, offensive rebound, steal, or assist. All proceeds are tax-deductible and go directly to the men's basketball program. There is also an option to make a one-time gift to men's basketball.
 
The game will be streamed on ESPN+ with Andrew Bogusch (PxP) and Andrew Posadas (analyst) announcing as well as broadcast on WFUV (90.7 FM) and the WFUV Sports YouTube page with Miles Grossman (PxP) and Colin Loughran (analyst) behind the mics.
 
Fordham enters the game with a 12-18 overall record, 6-11 in the Atlantic 10, and is coming off a 66-64 Atlantic 10 loss at Massachusetts on Wednesday night while Rhode Island enters the game with an 11-19 overall record, 5-12 in the conference, after a 69-51 A-10 loss to George Mason in Kingston on Wednesday.
 
Saturday afternoon's contest will be the 74th meeting between Fordham and Rhode Island on the hardwood.  The Kingston Rams lead the all-time series, 42-31, but the Bronx Rams have won three of the past four meetings, including this year's first matchup, 71-68, in Kingston on January 24 behind 24 points from Kyle Rose.

• Senior guard Kyle Rose is Fordham's all-time games played leader with 138 games played.
 
• Rose has appeared in 132 straight games dating back to his freshman season in 2019-2020.
 
• Rose leads the Rams in scoring (10.9 ppg) while senior guard Japhet Medor is second on the team in scoring (10.0) and in assists (2.4/game).
 
• Over the past 16 games (all Atlantic 10 games), senior guard Kyle Rose is averaging 14.6 ppg and 5.4 rpg, 16.6 ppg over the past nine, including a career-high 31 points at Saint Joseph's.
 
• Over the past 14 games, senior guard Antrell Charlton has 49 assists and only 21 turnovers.
 
• Over the past nine games, senior Abdou Tsimbila has 22 blocked shots.
 
• Kyle Rose has 212 career steals, sixth all-time at Fordham.
 
• Rose has 63 steals this year (2.1/game), second in the Atlantic 10, while senior guard Antrell Charlton has 40 and sophomore guard Will Richardson has 39 (1.4/game), tied for tenth.
 
• Senior forward Abdou Tsimbila has 68 blocks in 29 games (2.3/game), second in the Atlantic 10.
 
• Tsimbila has 162 career blocks, fifth all-time at Fordham.
 
• Tsimbila also leads the Rams in rebounding, averaging 6.3/game, eleventh in the Atlantic 10.
 
• The Rams did not lose any student-athletes to the transfer portal from 2022-23.
 
• The Rams open play at the 2024 Atlantic 10 Championship on Tuesday, March 12, at Barclays Center at a time and against an opponent to be determined.
