BRONX, N.Y. –  The Fordham University Rams, seeded 12th, open the 2024 Atlantic 10 Championship on Tuesday, March 12, as they face 13th-seeded Davidson College at Barclays Center at 11:30 a.m.
 
Join the Ramses Challenge, a philanthropic initiative supporting our student-athletes. Pledge a set amount for each rebound, offensive rebound, steal, or assist. All proceeds are tax-deductible and go directly to the men's basketball program. There is also an option to make a one-time gift to men's basketball.
 
The game will be streamed on ESPN+ with Matt Martucci (PxP) and Dr. John Giannini (analyst) announcing as well as broadcast on WFUV (90.7 FM) and the WFUV Sports YouTube page with Miles Grossman (PxP), Colin Loughran (analyst), and Kris Pursiainen (sidelines) behind the mics.
 
Fordham enters the game with a 12-19 overall record, 6-12 in the Atlantic 10, and is coming off a 58-50 Atlantic 10 loss to Rhode Island in the Rose Hill Gym on Saturday afternoon while Davidson enters the game with an 15-16 overall record, 5-13 in the conference, after an 89-71 A-10 loss at Saint Joseph's on Saturday.
 
Tuesday afternoon's contest will be the 20th meeting between Fordham and Davidson on the hardwood. The Wildcats lead the all-time series, 16-3, and have taken both of this year's meetings, 79-69, in the Rose Hill Gym on January 17 behind 24 points from both Grant Huffman and Reed Bailey, and 68-53 at Davidson on February 20 as Connor Kochera scored 21 points and Reed added 19.

• Senior guard Kyle Rose is Fordham's all-time games played leader with 139 games played.
 
• Rose has appeared in 133 straight games dating back to his freshman season in 2019-2020.
 
• Rose leads the Rams in scoring (10.7 ppg) while senior guard Japhet Medor is second on the team in scoring (10.0) and in assists (2.3/game).
 
• Over the past 17 games (all Atlantic 10 games), senior guard Kyle Rose is averaging 14.0 ppg and 5.4 rpg, 15.4 ppg over the past ten, including a career-high 31 points at Saint Joseph's.
 
• Over the past 15 games, senior guard Antrell Charlton has 52 assists and only 23 turnovers.
 
• Over the past ten games, senior Abdou Tsimbila has 24 blocked shots.
 
Kyle Rose has 213 career steals, sixth all-time at Fordham.
 
• Rose has 64 steals this year (2.1/game), second in the Atlantic 10, while senior guard Antrell Charlton has 41 and sophomore guard Will Richardson has 39 (1.3/game), tied for ninth.
 
• Senior forward Abdou Tsimbila has 70 blocks in 30 games (2.3/game), second in the Atlantic 10.
 
• Tsimbila has 164 career blocks, fourth all-time at Fordham.
 
• Tsimbila also leads the Rams in rebounding, averaging 6.3/game, tenth in the Atlantic 10.
 
• The Rams did not lose any student-athletes to the transfer portal from 2022-23.
 
• The winner of the Fordham-Davidson game will take on #5 VCU in the quarterfinals of the 2024 Atlantic 10 Championship on Wednesday, March 13, at Barclays Center at 2:00 p.m.
