Fordham Game Notes
BRONX, N.Y. – The Fordham University Rams continue the 2023-2024 season, Fordham's 121st varsity season, and continue Atlantic 10 play by hosting the Duquesne University Dukes in the historic Rose Hill Gym on Friday, February 23, at 8:30 p.m. in a White Out game. There will be free white t-shirts for all fans in attendance and free pizza for Fordham students.
Join the Ramses Challenge, a philanthropic initiative supporting our student-athletes. Pledge a set amount for each rebound, offensive rebound, steal, or assist. All proceeds are tax-deductible and go directly to the men's basketball program. There is also an option to make a one-time gift to men's basketball.
Alcohol will be available for purchase inside The Rose Hill Gym. Fordham and Aramark have set up a special bar in the balcony of the Rose Hill Gym, where fans 21 and older will be able to enjoy an adult beverage during the game. Dagger John's style service will also be available once again in room 112 of the Joseph McShane Student Center.
The game will be televised live on ESPN2 with Mike Corey (PxP) and Dalen Cuff (analyst) announcing as well as broadcast on WFUV (90.7 FM) and the
WFUV Sports YouTube page with Kris Pursiainen (PxP) and Colin Loughran (analyst) behind the mics.
Fordham enters the game with a 10-16 overall record, 4-9 in the Atlantic 10, and is coming off a 68-53 Atlantic 10 loss at Davidson on Tuesday night while Duquesne enters the game with a 16-10 overall record, 6-7 in the conference, after an 81-66 A-10 win over VCU in Pittsburgh on Tuesday.
Friday night's contest will be the 50th meeting between Fordham and Duquesne on the hardwood. The Dukes lead the all-time series 29-20, including a win earlier this year in Pittsburgh.

• After averaging 2.7 ppg and 2.0 rpg last year, sophomore forward
Elijah Gray is averaging 10.0 ppg and 4.3 rpg this year, including his first collegiate double-double with 12 points and eleven rebounds versus Davidson.
• Friday night's contest with Duquesne marks Fordham's first appearance on ESPN2 since the Rams hosted Massachusetts on February 14, 2008, a 76-72 Fordham win.
• The Rams last appearance on ESPN occurred on February 18, 2006, a home loss to Charlotte, while the last Fordham appearance on ESPNU was on December 12, 2017, a loss at Rutgers.
• The Rams did not lose any student-athletes to the transfer portal from 2022-23.
• The Rams continue the 2024 Atlantic 10 season by hosting the George Mason University Patriots in the historic Rose Hill Gym on Tuesday, February 27, at 7:00 p.m.
