Wojciechowicz led the Rams to an 18-2-5 record in his three years, including the undefeated 1937 team that went 7-0-1, with the only tie being a 0-0 deadlock with Pitt, Fordham's last undefeated football squad.
After graduation Wojciechowicz played professional football for 13 seasons and was All-Pro with the Detroit Lions in 1939 and 1940.
After retiring in 1951, Wojciechowicz turned to real estate as a career. He is a member of both the College and Professional Football Halls of Fame. He was also a professional football scout and President of the National Football League Alumni Association.
In 1968, Wojciechowicz became the first of three Rams to be enshrined in the Pro Football Hall of Fame.
