CHICAGO, Ill. - Taking on one of the A-10's top teams for the second night in a row, Fordham University volleyball fell to Loyola Chicago in straight sets Saturday afternoon.

Whitley Moody would lead the Rams with 14 kills and 10 digs, with Audrey Brown adding six hammers and Lauryn Sweeney adding four. Ryan Naumann would also tally 10 digs along with four assists, while Whitney Woodrow would dish out 22 helpers on the afternoon.

As they would less than 24 hours prior, Fordham would open Saturday's contest strong, keeping pace with Loyola Chicago through the first 18-points of the match, even at nine-all. An extended run by the Ramblers would put the home side up by seven, pulling away comfortably to see out a 25- win in the opening frame.

Taking a huge lead out of the gates in set two, the Ramblers would go up 10-4, leaving the Rams to fight their way back into the set. Charging back late in the period, the Rams would cut the lead to 18-15, but were unable to get closer than three points, before Loyola Chicago pulled away to win 25-19 and take a two nothing lead in the afternoon.

Despite the Ramblers taking a quick five point lead to start the third, Fordham would level the score at nine-all, but were once again answered by a quick run by the home side. Cutting the score back to 19-15, Loyola Chicago would pull away to sweep the match.

Saturday's loss, combined with a Saint Louis win over George Mason, officially eliminated the Rams from playoff contention, dropping to 7-18 on the year and 3-11 in A-10 play.

Fordham returns to The Bronx for the final weekend of the regular season, Friday and Saturday against VCU at the Rose Hill Gym, with Fordham set to honor its senior class before Saturday's regular season finale.
