The 18-game league calendar sees the Rams play nine conference home games at the Rose Hill Gym

WASHINGTON – The Atlantic 10 has announced the full conference slate of games for Fordham University women's basketball and the rest of the league with just over a month to go before the ball is tossed up around the country to open the 2024-25 college basketball season.

The 18-game conference schedule will start just before the New Year, and include nine home dates for the Rams at the Historic Rose Hill Gymnasium, including the home opener against the defending league champions. Fordham will face off against all 14 opponents in the A-10, taking on four of those in a home-and-home series: Duquesne, George Washington, Dayton, and La Salle.

Season tickets for the 2024-25 Fordham Women's Basketball season are on sale now, with Single Game tickets set to go on sale Oct. 16. Head to FordhamSports.com/tickets to purchase your season tickets today, or contact the Fordham Athletics Ticket Office at 718-817-4759 for more information.

In the 2024-25 A-10 schedule, the Rams will not have more than a two-game road trip at any time, with two such trips occurring—once in early January and again at the start of February. These road stretches will frame the Rams' longest homestand in conference play, a three-game series during their bye week, taking place from January 18 to January 29.

Opening the A-10 portion of the calendar in the final weekend of 2024, Fordham will head up to UMass on Sunday, Dec. 29, before returning home for the first game of the New Year against defending A-10 Champions, Richmond, on Thursday, Jan. 2 in The Bronx.

From there, Fordham will play two of its four home-and-home opponents for the first time, heading to Pittsburgh to battle Duquesne, Sunday, Jan. 5, ahead of a meeting with George Washington back at the Rose Hill Gym on Wednesday, Jan. 8.

The first two-game road-trip for the Rams will see them head out to the Windy City on Saturday, Jan. 11 to take on Loyola Chicago, then to Pennsylvania for a midweek clash with Saint Joseph's in Philly. Last time Fordham faced St. Joe's was just before the end of the regular season last year, with the Rams toppling the then top seeded Hawks, 62-57, to knock them out of the top spot in the league standings ahead of the postseason.

Beginning a three match home stretch from there, Fordham will stay in The Bronx for just over two weeks, beginning with a Saturday, Jan. 18 date against Dayton, another team the Rams will see once more later in the year. Following their bye in the midweek, the Maroon and White host St. Bonaventure on Saturday, Jan. 25, and close the homestand that Wednesday, Jan. 29 in a Battle of the Rams against Rhode Island.

Opening the month of February with a pair of games on the road, Fordham will head to Missouri on Saturday, Feb. 1 and to the Nation's Capital for the return trip to George Washington on, Feb. 4, the lone Tuesday conference game on the docket this season. That Saturday, the Rams will return home to the Five Boroughs to host George Mason on Feb. 8, before heading to La Salle for the first of two meetings just 14 days apart on Wednesday, Feb. 12 in Philadelphia.

Sunday, Feb, 16, Fordham will host VCU at the Rose Hill Gym, the first of two home games that week, as Duquesne makes their return trip to The Bronx, Wednesday, Feb. 19, which also opens a three game stretch against teams faced earlier in the year.

Fordham will complete its return trip to Dayton on Saturday Feb. 22, before La Salle and the Rams duke it out once again in the final home game of the year for the Maroon and White on Wednesday, Feb. 26. The 2024-25 regular season wraps up on Saturday, Mar. 1 when the Rams head to North Carolina to take on Davidson.

Game times as well as streaming information and upcoming promotions for the 2024-25 season will be announced in the coming weeks. Stay tuned to FordhamSports.com and the Fordham Women's Basketball instagram or twitter for the latest information.
