BRONX, N.Y. –  The Fordham University Rams continue the 2023-2024 season, Fordham's 121st varsity season, and continue Atlantic 10 play by traveling to Pittsburgh, Pa., to face the Duquesne University Dukes in the UPMC Cooper Fieldhouse on Saturday, January 27, at 12:30 p.m.
 
Join the Ramses Challenge, a philanthropic initiative supporting our student-athletes. Pledge a set amount for each rebound, offensive rebound, steal, or assist. All proceeds are tax-deductible and go directly to the men's basketball program. There is also an option to make a one-time gift to men's basketball.
 
The game will be broadcast live on the USA Network with Mike Corey (PxP) and Tim McCormick (analyst) announcing as well as broadcast on WFUV (90.7 FM) and the WFUV Sports YouTube page with Miles Grossman (PxP) and Colin Loughran (analyst) behind the mics.
 
Fordham enters the game with a 9-10 overall record, 3-3 in the Atlantic 10, and is coming off a 71-68 Atlantic 10 win at the University of Rhode Island on Wednesday night while Duquesne enters the game with a 10-8 overall record, 1-5 in the conference, after a 54-50 A-10 win over St. Bonaventure University in Pittsburgh on Tuesday night.
 
Saturday afternoon's contest will be the 49th meeting between Fordham and Duquesne on the hardwood. The Dukes lead the all-time series, which started in the 1949-50 season, 28-20, but the Rams have taken the past four meetings, including both matchups last year, a 65-58 win in Pittsburgh on January 21 behind 19 points and seven rebounds from Khalid Moore, and an 87-60 victory in the Rose Hill Gym on March 4 as Moore finished with 24 points and nine rebounds and Darius Quisenberry added 21 points..

• Senior guard Kyle Rose became Fordham's all-time games played leader with his 127th appearance in the Rhode Island game on Wednesday night.
 
• Rose has appeared in 122 straight games dating back to his freshman season in 2019-2020.
 
• Senior guard Japhet Medor, who missed the Loyola Chicago game with an injury, leads the Rams in scoring (12.7) and is second in assists (2.9/game) while sophomore guard Will Richardson is second in scoring, averaging 10.6 ppg, and sophomore forward Joshua Rivera is third in scoring (10.0 ppg) and fourth in rebounding (4.3/game).
 
• Over his past six games, senior guard Japhet Medor is averaging 16.2 ppg, including two 20-point games (Medor missed the Loyola Chicago and Rhode Island games with an injury), while sophomore guard Will Richardson is averaging 12.8 ppg and 3.1 apg and senior guard Kyle Rose is averaging 12.5 ppg and 6.1 rpg over the past eight games
 
• Over the past six games, sophomore forward Elijah Gray is averaging 13.5 ppg and 6.3 rpg.
 
• Rose has 189 career steals, seventh all-time at Fordham.
 
• Rose has 40 steals this year (2.1/game), second in the Atlantic 10, while senior guard Antrell Charlton has 31 (1.6/game), tied for sixth most in the A-10 this season.
 
• Senior forward Abdou Tsimbila has 45 blocks in 18 games (2.5/game), second in the Atlantic 10 and 15th in the NCAA.
 
• Tsimbila has 139 career blocks, seventh all-time at Fordham.
 
• Tsimbila also leads the Rams in rebounding, averaging 7.3/game, seventh in the Atlantic 10.
 
• After averaging 2.7 ppg and 2.0 rpg last year, sophomore forward Elijah Gray is averaging 9.9 ppg and 4.4 rpg this year, including his first collegiate double-double with 12 points and eleven rebounds versus Davidson.
 
• Fordham is a perfect 3-0 in Atlantic 10 road games this year and 8-4 over the past two years.
 
• The Rams did not lose any student-athletes to the transfer portal from 2022-23.
 
• The Rams continue the 2024 Atlantic 10 season by hosting the University of Richmond Spiders in the historic Rose Hill Gym on Wednesday, January 31, at 7:00 p.m.
