BRONX, N.Y. – The Fordham University Rams continue the 2023-2024 season, Fordham's 121st varsity season, and continue Atlantic 10 play by traveling to Kingston, R.I., to face the University of Rhode Island Rams in the Ryan Center on Wednesday, January 24, at 7:00 p.m.

Senior guard
Kyle Rose will make his 127th appearance in a Fordham uniform in the game to become the school's games played leader. He will break the record of 126 set
by Fred Herzog (1987-1992) and Jean Prioleau (1988-1992).
The game will be streamed live on ESPN+ with Noah McLane (PxP), Aiden Garvey (analyst), and Chris Ward (sidelines) announcing as well as broadcast on WFUV (90.7 FM) and the
WFUV Sports YouTube page with Miles Grossman (PxP) and Kris Pursiainen (analyst) behind the mics.
Fordham enters the game with an 8-10 overall record, 2-3 in the Atlantic 10, and is coming off a 65-61 Atlantic 10 loss to Loyola University Chicago in the Rose Hill Gym on Saturday afternoon while Rhode Island enters the game with a 9-9 overall record, 3-2 in the conference, after a 96-62 A-10 loss at Dayton on Saturday afternoon.
Wednesday night's contest will be the 73rd meeting between Fordham and Rhode Island on the hardwood. Rhode Island leads the all-time series, which started in the 1941-42 season, 41-31. The two schools split a pair of games last year with Rhode Island taking the first meeting, 82-79, in Kingston on January 4 behind 23 points from Malik Martin and 17 from Ishmael Leggett while
Darius Quisenberry led all scorers for Fordham with 33, and Fordham winning 74-70 on February 25 in the Rose Hill Gym behind 14 points from Quisenberry,
Khalid Moore, and Rostik Novitskyi.

• Senior guard
Japhet Medor, who missed the Loyola Chicago game with an injury, leads the Rams in scoring (12.7) and is second in assists (2.9/game) while sophomore guard
Will Richardson is second in scoring, averaging 10.5 ppg, and sophomore forward
Elijah Gray is third in scoring (10.2 ppg) and rebounding (4.7/game).
• Over the past six games, senior guard
Japhet Medor is averaging 16.2 ppg, including two 20-point games, while over the past seven games sophomore guard
Will Richardson is averaging 12.7 ppg and 3.4 apg, and senior guard
Kyle Rose is averaging 10.9 ppg and 6.1 rpg (6.7 rpg over the past six).

Elijah Gray is averaging 15.4 ppg and 7.4 rpg.
• Rose has 187 career steals, tied for seventh all-time at Fordham.

Abdou Tsimbila has 44 blocks in 16 games (2.7/game), second in the Atlantic 10 and ninth in the NCAA.
• Tsimbila has 138 career blocks, seventh all-time at Fordham.
• Tsimbila also leads the Rams in rebounding, averaging 7.4/game, fifth in the Atlantic 10.
• After averaging 2.7 ppg and 2.0 rpg last year, sophomore forward
Elijah Gray is averaging 10.2 ppg and 4.6 rpg this year, including his first collegiate double-double with 12 points and eleven rebounds versus Davidson.
• The Rams did not lose any student-athletes to the transfer portal from 2022-23.
• The Rams continue the 2024 Atlantic 10 season by traveling to Pittsburgh, Pa., to face the Duquesne University Dukes in the UPMC Cooper Fieldhouse on Saturday, January 27, at 12:30 p.m.
