Bronx, N.Y. – The Fordham University Rams continue the 2022-2023 season, Fordham's 120th varsity season, and continue Atlantic 10 play by hosting the University of Rhode Island Rams in the historic Rose Hill Gym on Saturday, February 25 at 2:30 p.m.
General admission tickets for the game are sold out. Tickets for Fordham students will be available at the door.
Join the Ramses Challenge, a new philanthropic initiative supporting our student-athletes. Pledge a set amount for each rebound, offensive rebound, steal, or assist. All proceeds are tax-deductible and go directly to the men's basketball program. There is also an option to make a one-time gift to men's basketball.
The game will be broadcast on the USA Network with Paul Burmeister (PxP) and Corey Robinson (analyst) announcing as well as broadcast on
www.wfuvsports.org with Thomas Aiello (PxP) and Ryan Gregware (analyst) behind the mics.
Fordham enters the game with a 22-6 overall record, 10-5 in the Atlantic 10, and is coming off a 71-69 A-10 win at Loyola University Chicago on Wednesday night while Rhode Island is 8-19 overall on the year, 4-11 in the Atlantic 10, following an 89-80 overtime A-10 loss to George Washington the Ryan Center on Wednesday night.
Saturday afternoon's contest will be the 72nd meeting between Fordham and Rhode Island on the hardwood with Rhode Island leading the all-time series, which started in the 1941-42 season, 41-30. Rhode Island took this year's first meeting, 82-79, in Kingston on January 4 behind 23 points from Malik Martin and 17 from Ishmael Leggett while
Darius Quisenberry led all scores for Fordham with 33.

• Freshman guard
Will Richardson was named the Atlantic 10 Rookie of the Week on Monday after averaging 14.5 ppg in two contest last week.
• Richardson has turned it on over the past eleven games, averaging 9.2 ppg while shooting .480 (24-50) from behind the arc.
• Grad student forward
Khalid Moore is averaging 17.1 ppg over the past ten games.
• Moore is averaging 15.0 ppg, second on the team and 13th in the Atlantic 10, and a team-best 6.6 rpg, along with 46 assists, 33 steals, and eleven blocks.
• Grad student guard
Darius Quisenberry, who scored his 2,000
th career point at Richmond, is leading the Rams in scoring at 17.2 ppg, sixth in the Atlantic 10.
• Junior guard
Antrell Charlton has 16 assists and only seven turnovers over the past five games.
• Junior guard
Kyle Rose is third in the Atlantic 10 in steals (1.9/game).
• Junior
Abdou Tsimbila is tied for the Atlantic lead 10 in blocks (1.9/game) and is tied for tenth in the Atlantic 10 in rebounding (6.5).
• Fordham has won nine of the past 12 Atlantic 10 games, the first time the Rams accomplished that since joining the A-10.
