BRONX, N.Y. – The Fordham University Rams continue the 2023-2024 season, Fordham's 121st varsity season, by facing the University of North Texas Mean Green as part of the 2023 NABC Brooklyn Showcase at the Barclays Center on Sunday, December 10, at 11:30 a.m.
Join the Ramses Challenge, a philanthropic initiative supporting our student-athletes. Pledge a set amount for each rebound, offensive rebound, steal, or assist. All proceeds are tax-deductible and go directly to the men's basketball program. There is also an option to make a one-time gift to men's basketball.
The game will be broadcast live on the YES Network with Chris Shearn (PxP) and Tim Capstraw (analyst) announcing as well as broadcast on the
WFUV Sports YouTube page with Miles Grossman (PxP) and Colin Loughran (analyst) behind the mics.
Fordham enters the game with a 4-5 record and is coming off an 80-77 loss to NJIT in the Rose Hill Gym on Wednesday night while North Texas is 5-3 on the season after a 69-64 loss to Boise State in Idaho on Wednesday night.
Sunday afternoon's contest will be the first meeting between Fordham and North Texas on the hardwood. It will be the second American Athletic Conference opponent for the Rams this year (Tulane).

• Senior guard
Japhet Medor leads Fordham in scoring (11.6 ppg) and is second in assists (3.2/game) while sophomore forward
Joshua Rivera is second in scoring (11.1) and rebounding (4.9).
• Senior guard
Kyle Rose has 165 career steals, tenth all-time at Fordham.
• Senior guard
Antrell Charlton has 16 steals this year (1.9/game), third most in the A-10, while Rose has 15 (1.8/game), fourth in the conference.
• Senior forward
Abdou Tsimbila has 21 blocks in eight games (2.6/game), second in the Atlantic 10 and eleventh in the NCAA.
• After averaging 2.7 ppg and 2.0 rpg last year, sophomore forward
Elijah Gray is averaging 8.9 ppg and 4.3 rpg this year.
• After averaging 67.0 ppg over the first five games of 2023-24, the Fordham offense has come alive, averaging 82.8 ppg over the past four games.
• The Rams did not lose any student-athletes to the transfer portal from 2022-23.
• The Rams continue the 2023-24 season by facing the St. John's University Red Storm at Madison Square Garden on Saturday, December 16 at 3:30 p.m.
