St. Thomas, U.S.V.I. – The Fordham University Rams continue the 2023 Paradise Jam by taking on the Kent State University Golden Flashes in a winner's bracket game in the University of the Virgin Islands Sports and Fitness Center on Monday, November 20 at 5:45 p.m. (ET).

All proceeds are tax-deductible and go directly to the men's basketball program. There is also an option to make a one-time gift to men's basketball.
The game will be streamed on ESPN+ with Brad Wells (PxP) and Kevin Lehman (analyst) announcing as well as broadcast on the
WFUV Sports YouTube page with Miles Grossman (PxP) and Kris Pursiainen (analyst) behind the mics.
Fordham enters the game with a 2-2 record and is coming off a 59-45 loss to Abilene Christian University in the second round of the Paradise Jam on Sunday night while Kent State is 3-2 on the season after a 56-52 loss to Missouri State in the Paradise Jam on Sunday night.
Monday night's contest will be the second meeting between Fordham and Kent State on the hardwood. Fordham played Kent State at the 1975 Marshall Invitational, falling to the Golden Flashes, 70-61.
Notes
• Over the last two years, Fordham is 6-2 in multi-team events (MTEs), sweeping all three games at last season's Tom Konchalski Classic after going 2-1 at the 2021 Gulf Coast Showcase to capture a third-place finish.
• The Rams are all-time versus the MAC (1-0 vs. Akron, 1-1 vs. Miami (OH), 0-3 vs. Bowling Green, 0-2 vs. Western Michigan, 0-1 vs. Kent State, and 0-1 vs. Ohio).
• Kent State University head coach Rob Senderoff served as an assistant coach for the Rams from 1997-1999, serving on Nick Macarchuk's staff.
• This is Fordham's third appearance at the Paradise Jam, playing in the tournament in 2005 and 2019.

Japhet Medor leads Fordham in scoring (12.8 ppg) and assists (2.8/game) while senior forward
Abdou Tsimbilais second in scoring (10.3) and leads the team in rebounding (9.3).

Abdou Tsimbila recorded his first double-double of the season, and the third of his career, with eleven points and eleven rebounds against Abilene Christian.
• The Rams did not lose any student-athletes to the transfer portal from 2022-23.
