BRONX, N.Y. – In the final home game ahead of Thanksgiving, Fordham University women's basketball returns to action at the Rose Hill Gym Monday night when they host Fansgiving against Georgian Court. Tip off against the Lions is scheduled for 7:00 p.m. in the first of four games for the Rams on the YES Network.
Season of Giving
The Rams will be collecting non-perishable food items for donation to their annual food drive ahead of Thanksgiving. This season the Fordham women's basketball food drive is supporting POTS. Monday's game is also Faculty/Staff Appreciation Day, with all Fordham University employees receiving free entry to the game. The full 2023-24 promotional schedule can be found here.

	Fordham enters play 2-2 with victories over Adelphi and UAlbany out of the gates.

	The Rams have tallied double digit steals in each of the first four games of the season, averaging 11.5 per game thus far.

	Emy Hayford and Taylor Donaldson lead the Rams offense, averaging 14.0 and 13.0 points per game, respectively.

	Aminata Ly is coming off her first double-double in a Fordham uniform, scoring 10 points and pulling down ten rebounds last time out. Ly also paces the Rams' efforts on the glass, with 6.8 boards per contest.

	Matilda Flood leads the teams with 11 steals, and sits second the team through the early portion of the year, averaging 5.3 rebounds per game and also .

In addition the A-10 deal with ESPN will see the full slate of 18 Fordham home games broadcast on the ESPN family of networks, the 2023-24 Rams will have 10 total games broadcast on regional sports networks. The Rams will play four games on a network familiar to Bronx sports fans, with the YES (Yankees Entertainment & Sports) Network hosting four games, beginning with Monday night's meeting with the Lions, along with one additional game in non-conference play and a pair of A-10 dates in late January. 
Friday served as the first of six broadcasts for Fordham women's basketball on Sportsnet New York (SNY), with two of those dates coming later in conference play.. Fordham will also take on Davidson on National television Jan. 14, 2024 when the Rams and Wildcats square off from the Rose Hill Gym on CBS Sports Network.
Courting the Lions
Still seeking their first victory of the young season, Georgian Court enters Monday's meeting with the Rams off a narrow, foul heavy contest that saw them fall by eight to Kutztown. Safiatu Kolliegbo leads the Lions on offense, averaging a whopping 19.0 points per game through the first three games of the year.
Making a House a Home
The 2023-24 calendar starts with a litany of home games for the Rams, who will play seven of their first eight games in the friendly confines of the Rose Hill Gym. With the lone trip out of The Bronx coming last weekend with a visit to Miami, Fordham will play five straight games at home from Nov. 16 to Dec. 2. That stretch began with the annual "Battle of the Bronx" when the Rams hosted Manhattan, the first of six games broadcast on SNY this season. Taking on Georgian Court just before Thanksgiving, Fordham takes on UMass Lowell Nov. 25, followed by matchups with Saint Peter's and Maine next week.

The Rams will be back at it Saturday afternoon at the Rose Hill Gym, hosting UMass Lowell at 1:00 p.m.
