Bronx, N.Y. – Fordham University offensive lineman Nick Zakelj was selected today by the San Francisco 49ers in the sixth round (187th overall pick) in the 2022 NFL Draft. He is the second Fordham draft pick over the past four years, joining current Miami Dolphins running back Chase Edmonds, who was selected in the fourth round of the 2018 draft by the Arizona Cardinals.
