LAST TIME OUT: Fordham's

La Salle (2-5-0, 0-1) opened the scoring in the 24
th minute on a brilliant individual effort by Junior Nare, who netted his second goal of the season.  Nare picked up a loose ball, just shy of the midfield stripe, ran all the way to the top of the box, and fired home a shot from 18 yards inside the right post.

Fordham then benefitted from a La Salle miscue in the 36
th minute to tie the game at one.  Off a long Fordham throw-in by
Matt Sloan, the ball went off a La Salle defender's head into the left side of the goal for an own goal.

The scored remained tied until the 65
th minute, as a scramble for the ball in the La Salle box, eventually found
Max Rogers on the left side.  He crossed the ball in, where
Jacob Bohm flicked a header to the right side of the box.
Jack Sluys then short hopped a shot, that bounced over the goalkeeper and under the crossbar for the go-ahead goal.

From there, the Fordham defense held strong with
Nick Buchholz making his lone save of the night on a shot by Scott Beeks in the 68
th minute to pull out the 2-1 victory.
