Newport News, Va. – Through four weeks of the 2021-22 campaign, Fordham women's basketball now has three different student-athletes named Atlantic 10 Player of the Week after junior
Anna DeWolfe earned the honor on Monday, the league office announced, the second time she's garnered the accolade in her career. The reigning A-10 Player of the Year led the Rams to two big wins last week, also earning her Metropolitan Basketball Writers Association Player of the Week honors.

DeWolfe scored a season-high 28 points in each contest while playing every single minute of wins over Stony Brook and Princeton. DeWolfe and the Rams handed the Seawolves their first loss of the year, 71-59, last Thursday night. DeWolfe matched her career-high with 11 field goals made, doing so on 18 attempts, hitting 4-of-7 from behind the arc, and 2-of-2 from the line, with a team-high five assists, plus three steals, two rebounds, and a block. Against Princeton, the Cumberland, Maine native sank 10-of-17 attempts from the field, 3-of-7 from distance, and 5-of-5 from the charity stripe, with three more steals, three more assists, and two more boards.
For the week, DeWolfe shot 60.0% from the floor, 50.0% from deep, and a perfect 7-of-7 from the line, with 4.0 assists, 3.0 steals, 2.0 rebounds, and 0.5 blocks.
For the season, DeWolfe leads the Atlantic 10 in scoring (19.0 points per game), ranked 38
th nationally, is second nationally in total minutes played (353), fourth in minutes per game (39.2), and 11
th in made field goals (68). She is just 50 points away from 1,000 for her career.
Fordham is back in action Wednesday night against Manhattan in the 52
nd Battle of the Bronx. Tip-off from the Rose Hill Gym is set for 7 p.m. on ESPN+ and WFUV.
