Bronx, N.Y. – The Fordham University Rams continue the 2021-2022 season, Fordham's 119th varsity season, by hosting the University of Maryland Eastern Shore Hawks in the historic Rose Hill Gym on Friday, November 19, at 7:00 p.m.

The game will be broadcast live on ESPN+, with Andrew Bogusch (p-b-p) and Andrew Posadas (color) announcing, and streamed on www.wfuvsports.org with Nick DeLuca (p-b-p) and Ryan Gregware (color) behind the mics.

Fordham enters the game with a 2-1 record after an 84-78 win over St. Thomas (Minn.) in the Rose Hill Gym on Monday night while UMES is 1-2 on the season after a 91-42 win over Bryn Athyn at home on Saturday.

Friday night's contest will be the third meeting between Fordham and UMES on the hardwood. The two teams split the first two meetings. The Rams won the last meeting, 66-45, in 2019 behind 18 points and eleven rebounds from Chuba Ohams.

Notes

• After missing most of the 2020-2021 season, graduate student forward Chuba Ohams has wasted little time displaying that he was back, recording a double-double in each of the first three games.

• Ohams started with 13 points and a career-high 15 rebounds in the season-opening win over Columbia and then bettered his career-high with 18 rebounds to go with 17 points at Manhattan. He followed that with 12 points and 12 boards vs. St. Thomas.

• Ohams leads the Atlantic 10 and is second in the NCAA in rebounding (15.0 rpg).

• Sophomore guard Kyle Rose had a career night vs. St. Thomas, scoring 22 points and pulling down six rebounds, both career-highs.

• Rose shot 6-for-12 from behind the arc.

• Fordham head coach Kyle Neptune became the first Fordham head men's basketball coach to win in his debut since 1986.

• Fordham is 11-3 all-time against teams currently in the MEAC.
