Bronx, N.Y. – The Fordham University Rams continue the 2020-2021 Atlantic 10 season by traveling to Pittsburgh, Pa., to face the Duquesne University Dukes in the Kerr Fitness Center on the campus of La Roche University on Saturday, January 9, at 2:00 p.m.

The game will be broadcast live on the NBC Sports Network with Brendan Burke (play-by-play) and Ron Thompson (color) on the call, and broadcast live on WFUV (90.7 FM) and wfuvsports.org with Jackson Heil (play-by-play) and Andrew Posadas (color) announcing.

Fordham enters the game with a 1-2 record, 1-2 in the Atlantic 10, and is coming off a 55-54 conference over Dayton in the Rose Hill Gym on Tuesday night, while Duquesne enters the contest with a 2-3 overall record, 1-2 in the A-10, and is coming off a 61-48 league loss to Davidson in Pittsburgh on Tuesday.

Saturday afternoon's contest will be the 43rd meeting between Fordham and Duquesne on the hardwood. The Dukes lead the all-time series, which started in the 1949-50 season, 26-16, and took both of last year's meetings, 58-56 in overtime in Pittsburgh on January 15 as Lamar Norton, Jr., led the Dukes with 20 points while Ty Perry (17) and Jalen Cobb (16) finished in double figures for the Rams, and 59-54 in the Rose Hill Gym on February 16 as Tavian Dunn-Martin netted 15 points for the Dukes while Antwon Portley led all scorers with 16 for the Rams.

Notes
• Sophomore forward Joel Soriano has recorded a double-double in two of the first three games of 2020-2021 and now has a double-double in seven of his last nine games dating back to last year.

• Soriano is leading the team in scoring (11.3 ppg) and rebounding (9.3 rpg), fourth best in the Atlantic 10.

• Soriano also ranked third in the A-10 in field goal percentage (.667).

• Sophomore Chris Austin scored a career-high 20 points in the win over Dayton while Kyle Rose added a career-best eleven.

• A win at Duquesne would give Fordham head coach Jeff Neubauer his 250th career coaching win.
