Bronx, N.Y. – The Fordham University Rams continue the 2020-2021 Atlantic 10 season by hosting the Duquesne University Dukes in the historic Rose Hill Gym on Wednesday, January 27, at 6:00 p.m.
 
The game will be broadcast live on ESPN+ with Andrew Bogusch (play-by-play) and Darwin Zook (color) on the call, and broadcast live on WFUV (90.7 FM) and wfuvsports.org with Emmanuel Berbari (play-by-play) and Andrew Posadas (color) announcing.
 
Fordham enters the game with a 1-7 record, 1-7 in the Atlantic 10, and is coming off a 52-42 Atlantic 10 loss at Rhode Island on Sunday afternoon, while Duquesne enters the contest with a 4-6 overall record, 3-5 in the A-10, and is coming off a 65-61 league loss to St. Bonaventure in Pittsburgh on Saturday.
 
Wednesday night's contest will be the 44th meeting between Fordham and Duquesne on the hardwood. The Dukes lead the all-time series, which started in the 1949-50 season, 27-16, and took this year's first meeting, 48-45, on January 9, in Pittsburgh Tavian Dunn-Martin scored eleven points for the Dukes while Chris Austin led all scorers in the game for the Rams with 17.
 
Notes
• The game will be the head coaching debut of interim head coach Mike DePaoli.
 
• Sophomore Chris Austin has picked up the offense over the past six games, averaging 13.5 ppg over that stretch, including scoring a career-high 20 points in the win over Dayton.
 
• Austin leads the team in scoring at 11.3 ppg.
 
• Sophomore forward Joel Soriano has recorded a double-double in four of the first eight games of 2020-2021.
 
• Soriano now has a double-double in nine of his last 14 games dating back to last year.
 
• Soriano is leading the team in rebounding (8.8 rpg), fourth best in the Atlantic 10.
 
• Soriano leads the A-10 in offensive rebounding (3.9/game) and ranks eighth in field goal percentage (.538).
 
• Over the past six contests, Fordham opponents are averaging 60.0 ppg and shooting .398 (123-309) from the field and .280 (40-143) from behind the arc.
