Bronx, N.Y. – The Fordham University Rams continue the 2020 Atlantic 10 season, Fordham's 117th varsity season, by hosting the University of Rhode Island Rams in the historic Rose Hill Gym on Wednesday, February 26, at 7:00 p.m.
The game will be streamed live on ESPN+ with Andrew Bogusch (play-by-play) and Drew Casey (color) on the call, and broadcast live on WFUV (90.7 FM) and streamed on wfuvsports.org with Emmanuel Berbari (play-by-play) and Andrew Posadas (color) announcing.
Fordham enters the game with a 7-19 record, 1-13 in the Atlantic 10, and is coming off a 57-49 A-10 loss to Massachusetts in the Rose Hill Gym on Saturday afternoon while Rhode Island is 19-7 overall on the year, 11-3 in the conference, and is coming off a 77-75 overtime league loss at Davidson on Saturday.
Wednesday night's contest will be the 68th meeting between Fordham and Rhode Island on the hardwood. Rhode Island leads the all-time series, which started in the 1941-42 season, 38-29. Fordham took last year's game, 66-63 in overtime, on February 16 in Kingston, as
Chuba Ohams and
Nick Honor each netted 19 points, with Ohams adding nine rebounds, and
Jesse Bunting scored 12 points and pulled down nine boards.

• Freshman forward
Joel Soriano is averaging 8.3 ppg and 10.5 rpg over the past six games.
• Soriano recorded his first career double-double with 14 points and 16 rebounds, both season-highs, against UMass on Saturday.
• The Rams are holding their opponents to an average of 61.3 ppg, tops in the Atlantic 10, while Fordham foes have shot .403 (551-1368) from the field, also tops among A-10 teams.
• Fordham is eleventh in the NCAA in scoring defense.
• Over the past 13 games, 69.5% of Fordham's scoring has come from freshmen and sophomores.
• On the year, freshman and sophomores are responsible for 56.1% of Fordham's points.
