Bronx, N.Y. – Fordham women's basketball's scheduled home opener against Fairleigh Dickinson on Tuesday night has been cancelled, as agreed upon by both schools' medical staffs. This comes after the news that Fordham head coach
Stephanie Gaitley had come into contact with someone outside the program who had tested positive for coronavirus. As a result, she will quarantine for 14 days, according to New York State and University protocol.
All of the most recent tests for the Rams' Tier 1 personnel, including players and staff, came back negative. Fordham and FDU will look into the possibility of rescheduling this contest for a later date this season.
