Bronx, N.Y. – The Fordham University Rams continue the 2019-2020 season, Fordham's 117th varsity season, and close out their non-conference slate by hosting the Coppin State University Eagles in the historic Rose Hill Gym on Monday, December 30, at 7:00 p.m.
 
The game will be streamed live on ESPN+ with Mike Watts (p-b-p) and Brian Clark(color) announcing and broadcast live on www.wfuvsports.org, with Emmanuel Berbari (p-b-p) and Andrew Posadas (color) announcing.
 
Fordham enters the game with a 5-6 record and is coming off a 75-69 loss to James Madison University in the Rose Hill Gym on December 20 while Coppin State is 4-10 on the year and is coming off a 79-65 loss at Mount St. Mary's on Saturday.
 
Monday night's contest will be the second meeting between Fordham and Coppin State on the hardwood. The Rams won the first matchup, 92-55, on December 13, 2015, in the Rose Hill Gym.
 
Notes
• The Fordham Rams have come out strong on the defensive end in 2019-2020.
 
• The Rams have held their first eleven opponents to an average of 60.0 ppg while the eleven Fordham foes shot just .393 (228-580) from the field, second best among A-10 teams.
 
• Fordham is second in the Atlantic 10 in scoring defense and is 21st in the NCAA.
 
• Fordham is 10-3 all-time against schools currently in the Mid-American Athletic Conference (MEAC), including a win over Maryland Eastern Shore earlier this year
 
• Junior forward Chuba Ohams picked up his third double-double of the season with a 14-point, 12-rebound effort vs. Tennessee State.
 
• Ohams leads the team in scoring (11.5 ppg) and rebounding (8.4).
 
•Senior guard Erten Gazi is averaging 13.0 ppg over the past four games, including netting career-high 21 points against James Madison.
