Bronx, N.Y. – When today's game started between Fordham and Bryant there were over 2,000 young, screaming fans in the Rose Hill Gym for Kids Day. The crowd was treated to an entertaining first half as the Rams led by two at the break. Unfortunately, most of the students had to leave at halftime and the Fordham offense seemed to leave with them as the Rams managed just 25-second half points and fell to the Bulldogs, 69-61, on Tuesday afternoon.
With the loss, Fordham falls to 5-4 while Bryant improves to 7-4.
Senior guard
Antwon Portley led the Rams with 15 points while senior guard
Erten Gazi added 12.
Fordham led by as many as ten in the first half, 33-23, following a Portley jumper with 4:15 left but the Bulldogs battles back to tie the game at 34 with just under a minute remaining.

Chuba Ohams steal and dunk just before the halftime buzzer gave the Ram a 36-34 halftime advantage.
Fordham got the lead to seven, 41-34, early in the second before Bryant scored nine straight points to take a 43-41 lead with 13:50 left. A Portley free throw a minute later tied the game at 43 but a Bulldog three gave the visitors the lead for good midway through the period.
