St. Thomas, U.S.V.I.  – The Fordham University men's basketball Rams continue their 2019-2020 season, the 117th season of varsity basketball at Rose Hill, by opening play at the 2019 Paradise Jam in St. Thomas, U.S.V.I., as they face the University of Nevada Wolfpack in the University of the Virgin Islands Recreation and Fitness Center on Friday, November 22, at 3:15 p.m. (EST)
 
The game will be streamed live on FloTrack with Danny Lee (p-b-p) and Kevin Lehman (color) announcing.
 
Fordham enters the game with a 3-0 record and is coming off a 58-41 win over Marist in the Rose Hill Gym on Saturday night while Nevada is 2-3 on the year and is coming off a 91-71 loss at Davidson on Tuesday night.
 
Friday afternoon's contest will be the first meeting between Fordham and Nevada on the hardwood. The Rams are 2-3 all-time against teams currently in the Mountain West Conference.

Notes
 
• This will be Fordham's second appearance at the Paradise Jam.
 
• The Rams competed in the 2005 tournament, defeating Norfolk State (72-53) while falling to Old Dominion (65-62) and Georgia (79-68).
 
• With a win on Friday, Fordham will open the season 4-0 for the first time since 1972.
 
• In the season-opening win over St. Francis, Fordham re­corded ten steals.
 
•Fordham followed that game with 12 steals against FDU and eight more versus Marist.
 
• The Rams are third in the Atlantic 10 in steals/game (10.0).
 
• The Fordham Rams have come out strong on the defensive end in 2019-2020.
 
• The Rams have held their first three opponents to an average of 50.0 ppg while the three Fordham foes shot just .233 (26-41) from behind the arc, second best among A-10 teams.
 
• Fordham leads the Atlantic 10 in scoring defense and is fourth in the NCAA.
