Bronx, N.Y. – The 2018-2019 Fordham University men's Atlantic 10 basketball schedule was released today. It features four televised Atlantic 10 contests and a visit from the defending Atlantic 10 champions, Davidson College.
The 2018-19 Atlantic 10 Conference men's basketball schedule features 159 total national television appearances, across the league's four media partners: ESPN, CBS Sports Network, NBCSN and Stadium. The A-10 announced the conference schedule and TV selections Wednesday.
For the fifth straight year, the Fordham men's Atlantic 10 schedule will consist of 18 games, nine home and nine away, with the Rams facing five opponents in a home-and-home series. Fourth-year head coach
Jeff Neubauer's squad will face defending Atlantic 10 champions Davidson, along with Duquesne, George Washington, La Salle, and St. Bonaventure twice during the 2018-2019 season.
In addition to the home games with Davidson, Duquesne, George Washington, La Salle, and St. Bonaventure, the Rams will host Dayton, Saint Joseph's, Saint Louis and VCU in the historic Rose Hill Gym.
Besides the return trips to Davidson, Duquesne, George Washington, La Salle, and St. Bonaventure, Fordham will play Atlantic 10 Conference road contests at George Mason, Massachusetts, Rhode Island and Richmond in 2018-2019.
The Rams open the 2018-2019 Atlantic 10 season, with one of its two bye weeks and then host the VCU Rams on Saturday, January 5. Fordham will then take to the road for games at Duquesne on January 9 and St. Bonaventure (January 12 (in Rochester) before returning to the Rose Hill Gym to host Saint Louis on January 15.

After a trip to Fairfax, Va., to face the George Mason Patriots, Fordham will welcome La Salle (January 23) and Dayton (January 26) to the Bronx before closing out the month with a game at George Washington on January 30.
The Rams open February by traveling to Massachusetts (February 6) before hosting Duquesne (February 9) and Davidson (February 12). A pair of road games follow with trips to Rhode Island (February 16) and Richmond (February 20) before St. Bonaventure (February 23) and Saint Josephs (February 27) pay a visit to the Rose Hill Gym.
March will open with a trip to Davidson on the second day of the month before the Rams host George Washington on the sixth and then close out the regular season on the road at La Salle (March 9).
All 14 Atlantic 10 teams will advance to Brooklyn for the A-10 Men's Championship, to be held from March 13-17 at the Barclays Center.
On the court, head coach Neubauer's Rams will be led by senior forward
Prokop Slanina, who averaged 12.6 ppg and 5.1 rpg last winter while shooting .498 (145-291) from the field, fourth best in the Atlantic 10, and .368 (35-95) from behind the arc. He led team and was seventh in the A-10 with 37 blocks.
