Women's Basketball Named to WBCA National Academic Top 25 Honor Roll

Atlanta, Ga. – The Women's Basketball Coaches Association (WBCA) announced on Tuesday its Academic Top 25 Team Honor Roll for the 2017-18 year. The Fordham women's basketball program placed 24^th in the country with a 3.464 team GPA and was the Atlantic 10's lone representative.
 
"To finish the 2017-18 season with a WNIT Sweet Sixteen appearance and to be named a WBCA Academic Top 25 program speaks volumes of our student-athletes' commitment to excellence both on and off the court." Head coach Stephanie Gaitley said.
 
The WBCA Academic Top 25 recognizes NCAA Division I, II, and III, NAIA, and two-year GPAs inclusive of all student-athletes on their rosters for the entire season. The 2017-18 season is the 23^rd in which the WBCA has compiled the honor rolls.  
 
This is Fordham's first appearance on the annual honor roll.
