Bronx, N.Y. – They say the best thing about freshmen is that they become sophomores. Well the Fordham University basketball squad likes its freshmen right now as guards

With the win, Fordham improves to 5-1 on the year while Alabama A&M falls to 0-6.
Honor led all scorers in the game with 17 points, shooting 7-for-13 from the field and three-for-four from behind the arc, and he added five rebounds and four assists, while Cobb finished with 13 points and two steals.
Fordham led from start to finish, jumping out to a 15-6 lead nine minutes into the game, and then using a 10-1 spurt to boost the advantage to 25-7 on a
Ty Perry jumper with 7:28 left in the half and the Rams led by 17 at the break, 35-18.
