Mary Goulding has been named the Atlantic 10 Player of the Week, the league office announced on Monday, after averaging a double-double over two games and helping the Rams rally for a win over Charlotte on Sunday. This is Goulding's first career weekly accolade.

Goulding averaged 13.5 points and 10.5 rebounds this past week against Penn State and Charlotte. The senior captain scored 11 points to go with nine rebounds, five offensive, over 36 minutes in a loss to the Lady Lions but was instrumental in the team's comeback win over the 49ers on Sunday, scoring 12 of her 16 points in the fourth quarter and hauling in five more offensive boards to keep possessions alive. Goulding had 12 total rebounds in the game with a career-high two blocks, a steal, and an assist over 35 minutes. The defensive stats all came in the fourth quarter, as well. She was an ultra-efficient 8-of-13 from the field in the game.
For the week, in addition to the New Zealand international's points and boards, she also shot 50.0% overall from the field (13-of-26) and was especially hot from inside the three-point arc, hitting 12-of-21 shots (57.1%). Of Goulding's 21 boards, 10 came on the offensive glass. She also committed just one turnover across 35.5 minutes per game. She is now averaging a double-double on the season, 13.0 points and 10.0 boards, while splitting her 40 rebounds equally on both the offensive and defensive ends.
Fordham heads out on the road for four games over a seven-day span, first with this weekend's Gulf Coast Showcase, where the Rams will play three games in three days, starting with Ball State on Friday at 11 a.m.
