Bronx, N.Y. – The Fordham University men's basketball Rams continue their 2017-2018 Atlantic 10 season, the 115th season of varsity basketball at Rose Hill, by traveling to Philadelphia to face the Saint Joseph's University Hawks in the Michael J. Hagan '85 Arena on Saturday, January 20, at 1:00 p.m.

The matchup between Saint Joseph's and Fordham, part of the Jesuit Basketball Spotlight, is just one of many this season between the 28 Jesuit colleges and universities across the United States. Dedicated to academic rigor, research, faith and serving others, Jesuit Catholic education stands at the intersection of minds, hearts and souls.

The game will be streamed live on the Atlantic 10 Digital Network with Patrick McCarthy (p-b-p) announcing and broadcast on WFUV (90.7 FM) and www.wfuvsports.org with Matt Murphy (p-b-p) and Tom Scibelli (color) announcing.

Fordham enters the game with a 6-12 overall record, 1-5 in the Atlantic 10, after a 75-67 A-10 loss at La Salle on Wednesday night while Saint Joseph's is 8-9 overall, 3-3 in the conference, after an 81-65 A-10 win over Dayton in the Hagan Arena on Wednesday night.

Saturday afternoon's contest will be the 54th meeting between Fordham and Saint Joseph's on the hardwood with the Hawks lead the all-time series, which started in the 1919-20 season, 35-18, and have won three of the past four over the Rams. Saint Joseph's took the first meeting last year, 70-55, in the Rose Hill Gym on January 7 as James Demery scored a game-high 27 points and Lamarr Kimble added 12 points and nine rebounds while Fordham took the second, 86-83, on February 4 in Philadelphia in double overtime as Antwoine Anderson hit the game-winner at the second overtime buzzer.
