New York, N.Y. -- The Fordham volleyball team began the Battle of the Big Apple with a straight set loss at Columbia on Friday night. With the loss, the Rams' third straight, Fordham falls to 7-4 on the year. The Rams have two matches tomorrow, against LIU Brooklyn and St. Francis Brooklyn, to wrap up their nonconference schedule.
The Lions took the three sets 25-16, 25-21, 25-19.

Olivia Fairchild nearly notched another double-double, recording a team-high 11 kills to go with nine digs.
Classmate
Morgan Williams led the way with 16 digs.
Kaitlin Morley was next with seven kills and seven digs, followed by senior
Molly Oshinski, who had a season-high six kills.Â
Fordham squares off with LIU Brooklyn tomorrow at noon before playing St. Francis Brooklyn at 4:30 p.m.
