Bronx, N.Y. - The Fordham University Rams continue their 2016 Atlantic 10 season, the 113th season of varsity basketball at Rose Hill, by hosting the Saint Joseph's University Hawks in the historic Rose Hill Gym on Saturday, February 6, at 2:00 PM.

Fordham enters the game with a 12-8 overall record, 3-6 in the Atlantic 10, after a 78-72 overtime league win at Massachusetts last Saturday. Saint Joseph's enters the game with an18-4 overall record, 7-2 in the conference, after an 83-73 A-10 loss to St. Bonaventure in Philadelphia on Wednesday night.
Saturday afternoon's contest will be the 51st meeting between Fordham and Saint Joseph's on the hardwood. The Hawks lead the all-time series, which started in the 1919-20 season, 33-17. Saint Joseph's took this year's first meeting, 80-55, in Philadelphia on January 16 behind 26 points and 12 rebounds from DeAndre' Bembry. The two teams split a pair of games last year with the Hawks winning 66-55 in the Hagan Arena on January 14 behind 23 points from Chris Wilson and the Rams winning 69-55 in the Rose Hill Gym on February 15 as Mandell Thomas netted 20 points and Christian Sengfelder added 15. The Fordham win last year broke a ten-game Saint Joseph's winning streak in the series.Notes• The 12 wins in 2015-2016 are the most for a Fordham team since the 2007-2008 squad won 12 times.
• Fordham University freshman guard Joseph Chartouny was named Atlantic 10 Rookie of the Week for games played from January 25-31, his fourth rookie of the week honor. In a pair of games on the week, Chartouny averaged 13.5 ppg and 7.5 rpg while also dishing out nine assists. His best effort was an 18-point, ten-rebound game on Saturday at UMass as Chartouny led the Rams to a 78-72 overtime Atlantic 10 win in Amherst with his third double-double of the year. He also tied his season-high with seven assists against the Minutemen while shooting 6-for-9 from the field as Fordham snapped a seven-game Atlantic 10 road losing streak.
• Senior guard Mandell Thomas enters the game with 1,345 career points, 14th on the Fordham all-time scoring list. Thomas is 27 points behind Charlie Yelverton (1968-1971) for 13th on the list.
• With his 12 rebounds in the Massachusetts game, forward Ryan Rhoomes brought his career total to 803, moving him ahead of Damon Lopez (1988-1991) and into eighth place on the Fordham career rebounding list. Rhoomes is four behind Darryl Brown (1972-1975) for seventh on the all-time list.
• Fordham head coach Jeff Neubauer's teams at Eastern Kentucky were well known for their defensive prowess, routinely ranking at the top of the NCAA in steals and his first Fordham team is no different, recording 180 steals in 2015-2016 (9.0/game), second in the Atlantic 10 and ninth in the NCAA.
