Follow on Twitter Bronx, N.Y. – The Fordham University men's basketball Rams continue their 2016 Atlantic 10 season, the 113th season of varsity basketball at Rose Hill, by hosting the Davidson College Wildcats in the historic Rose Hill Gym on Saturday, February 27, at 2:00 PM.
The game will be the annual Alumni Day game for Fordham as the Rams welcome back players and coaches from the past, as well as Star Wars Day, with characters from the movie franchise in attendance .
The game will be streamed live on the Atlantic 10 Digital Network with Mike Watts (p-b-p) and Kenny Ducey (color) announcing and can also be heard live on WFUV (90.7 FM) and on www.wfuvsports.org with Drew Casey (p-b-p) and Matt Murphy (color) announcing. Follow the links above.
Fordham enters the game with a 14-12 overall record, 5-10 in the Atlantic 10, and is coming off a 56-53 A-10 win at La Salle on Wednesday night. Davidson enters with an 17-9 overall record, 9-6 in the conference, after a 65-54 league win over Rhode Island at home on Tuesday night.
Saturday afternoon's contest will be the third meeting between Fordham and Davidson on the hardwood and Davidson's first ever visit to the Rose Hill Gym. The Wildcats took the first two meetings, including a 76-57 win at Davidson last year as Brian Sullivan scored 18 points and Jack Gibbs added 17 for Davidson.
Notes• Fordham senior forward
Ryan Rhoomes has recorded eight double-doubles this year, the most recent a 17-point, ten-rebound game at Saint Louis on February 20, his third straight double-double. Rhoomes now has 15 career double-doubles and has scored in double figures in 23 of the 26 games this year.
• The 14 wins in 2015-2016 are the most for a Fordham team since the 2006-2007 squad won 18 times.

Ryan Rhoomes is ranked tenth in the NCAA in field goal percentage, hitting 64.8 percent of his shots (149-230). The school record for single season field goal percentage is .616 by Damon Lopes in 1990-1991.

Mandell Thomas enters the game with 1,345 career points, 14th on the Fordham all-time scoring list. Thomas is 27 points behind Charlie Yelverton (1968-1971) for 13th on the list.

Ryan Rhoomes brought his career total to 867, good for seventh place on the Fordham career rebounding list. Rhoomes is 50 behind John Stevens (1962-1965) for sixth on the all-time list.

Jeff Neubauer's teams at Eastern Kentucky were well known for their defensive prowess, routinely ranking at the top of the NCAA in steals and his first Fordham team is no different, recording 222 steals in 2015-2016 (8.6/game), second in the Atlantic 10 and eleventh in the NCAA.
