The Fordham-Dayton Atlantic 10 game schedule for Sunday will still tip at 4:00 PM as scheduled. The Fordham University Rams continue their 2016 Atlantic 10 season, the 113th season of varsity basketball at Rose Hill, by hosting the University of Dayton Flyers in the historic Rose Hill Gym on Sunday, January 24, at 4:00 PM.
The game will be televised live on the CBS Sports Network with Tom McCarthy (p-b-p) and Alaa Abdelnaby (color) announcing and can also be heard live on WFUV (90.7 FM) and on www.wfuvsports.org with Matt Moro (p-b-p) and James Decker (color) announcing. Follow the links above.
Fordham enters the game with an 11-6 overall record, 2-4 in the Atlantic 10, after a 73-62 league win over George Mason in the Rose Hill Gym on Wednesday night. Dayton, who is receiving votes in the latest USA Today and Associated Press polls, enters the game with a 15-3 overall record, 5-1 in the conference, after an 85-79 A-10 win at St. Bonaventure on Tuesday.
Sunday afternoon's contest will be the 33rd meeting between Fordham and Dayton on the hardwood. The Flyers lead the all-time series, which started in 1952-53, 27-5, and have won the past eleven match-ups. Dayton took both of last year's meetings, a 76-58 win in the Rose Hill Gym on January 10 as Dyshawn Pierre led five scorers in double figures for the Flyers wit 16, and 101-77 in Dayton on February 1 as Jordan Siebert led all scorers with 29 points while Kendall Pollard added 22.
Notes• Fordham will honor the memory of Fordham legend Johnny Bach, who passed away on Monday, with a special "JB" patch on its uniform for the rest of the season.
• Fordham's eleven home wins this season are the most for a Fordham squad since the 2006-2007 team also won 11. Fordham's 620 all-time wins in the Rose Hill Gym ranks 14th among all NCAA Division I schools in their current home venue.
• The eleven wins in 2015-2016 are the most for a Fordham team since the 2007-2008 squad won 12 times.

Mandell Thomas enters the game with 1,313 career points, 15th on the Fordham all-time scoring list. Thomas is ten points behind Bob Melvin (1960-1963) and Bill Langheld (1965-1968) for 14th on the list.

Ryan Rhoomes brought his career total to 775, placing him ninth on the Fordham career rebounding list. Rhoomes is 26 behind Damon Lopez (1988-1991) for eighth on the all-time list.

Jeff Neubauer's teams at Eastern Kentucky were well known for their defensive prowess, routinely ranking at the top of the NCAA in steals and his first Fordham team is no different, recording 156 steals in 2015-2016 (9.2/game), second in the Atlantic 10 and ninth in the NCAA.
• Fordham's scoring average of 74.2 ppg is the highest since the 1990-1991 team averaged 75.6 ppg.
• Fordham's defensive scoring average of 66.9 ppg, fourth best in the Atlantic 10, is the lowest since the 2006-2007 team allowed 64.2 ppg.
